In re: [Biblical Paths] Israel Excluded from International Archaeological Conference

I commented on Steven Smut’s article entitled Israel Excluded from International Archaeological Conference:

The State of Israel and the Zionist settlement before it have a longstanding history of looting and despoiling the cultural product of the ancestors of the native Palestinian population, who unlike practically all modern Jews are descended from the Judeans and Galileans of Judean Kingdom in which Jesus lived.

See [Khaleej Times] Israel Steals Palestinian Heritage, History.

Not only is the State of Israel in violation of the 1956 Hague Convention, but it even uses stolen cultural product to justify and rationalize genocide and ethnic cleansing of the native population in violation of the International Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide.

Thus, Israeli archaeologists as a class are in the same category as German Nazi archaeologists.

Israeli archaelogists should be facing charges before a Nuremberg-style tribunal and certainly should not be treated as guests at an international archaeological conference.
